The Platinum Founders required sourcing Japanese washi from a mill that produces fewer than 500 sheets per year for collectible use. The platinum foil process is more technically demanding than gold — it requires higher temperature and more precise pressure. Only 100 pieces were ever authorized. 95 have found their owners. 5 remain.
